Our all aluminum construction 2RU rackmountable drawer easily mounts into any standard 19" rack (or any other rackmount enclosure). Each drawer occupies 2 rack units of vertical rack space and conveniently locks in the closed position. Drawer includes spring-loaded closure latch to keep drawer closed without having to engage key lock. Drawer weighs only 6 pounds and is manufactured of high quality, 16 gauge aluminum.

I was a little skeptical about the weight of this drawer, the shipping weight is listed as 19 lbs, how could this drawer only 6 lbs if it weighs 19 lbs to ship??? I was pleasantly surprised that it weighed 10 lbs if that shipped and was superbly packed, anyone buying this type of drawer has weight as a major factor, you won't be disappointed, its a rack drawer, works like it is supposed to with about 20 lbs shed from a steel drawer, makes shipping guitar rig on a plane very doable, would buy again in a heartbeat
