Bought this rack just for business travel went using rental cars, since my regular vehicle doesn't require a rack (pickup). I read a couple of reviews that mentioned that the rack was "strappy", and it is, but I really appreciated the straps securing the rack to the car and the bike to the rack. Very firm/stable mounting. I rented a Camry, and was a little worried for first time use since I did not know whether it would fit (looked like the car had a spoiler, and the Hollywood website said that the Gordo would not fit one with a spoiler). I took the chance since I was in a hurry, and the rack ended up fitting perfectly! After a 600 mile journey today, I am pleased to report that this rack worked GREAT. YAY!Bike is an almost new Electra Townie, and like a few of the reviews said, the rack fits great for this kind of bike.All in all, I wish that my Ford F150 could use this rack....
